365 Project (New Picture a Day)

Day 365: Happy New Year! by Kelli Conley

D365:
I cannot believe that I actually completed this project! This year has blown by and all I can remember is sometime in mid-January thinking, how in the world am I going to take a picture every day this whole year! But this has been such a rewarding thing as well, and now I have a visual journal of 2011 to reflect back on.
Through it all I have been so appreciative of all the positive feedback I received. It really helped me continue on as there were days I had no inspiration and then others when it flowed like crazy... but that is the nature of the project! I would suggest to anyone thinking about it to definitely take on the challenge. You will find that it will help improve your photography, and such a sense of accomplishment!
And even though the Picture A Day project ends today, look out for similar posts next year! Also due to the feedback I have received I will be adding product reviews, comparisons, and tips & tricks I have learned! I am really excited about this so make sure to follow us into the new year!

Day 364: Holga 135 by Kelli Conley

D364:
One of the things I had asked for, for Christmas was an old film camera! I got this little Holga and have started to shoot some pictures, and can't wait to get them developed! I really have so much fun with film and am excited to see what kind of double exposures (on purpose or on accident), and light leaks I get!

Day 362: WeWood Watch by Kelli Conley

D362:
My family and I pitched in to get my husband this WeWood watch for Christmas. He loved the concept of the company which is One Watch - One Tree - One Planet. When you purchase a watch they plant a tree, all in an effort to help better the environment. Make sure to check them out we-wood.us.

Day 361: Leaping Through the Air by Kelli Conley

D361:
Brody gets soooo excited to go outside and run around on the hill next to our house! He leaps at full speed toward you when you call him and then jumps up and kisses your face. Blitz on the other hand is sooooooooooo fast that I can never seem to have a fast enough shutter speed or focus to get him in mid air and in focus. But none the less, they both enjoyed the freedom to run around like wild dogs! =)
